Billing basics

The essentials, up front.

Prices, taxes and available payment methods can vary by transaction. These are the baseline rules for Loyal billing.

$

Currency

All prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

%

Taxes

Displayed prices exclude applicable taxes. Where Loyal is legally required to collect sales tax, GST/HST, or another applicable tax, the amount may be calculated and added during checkout or invoicing.

S

Secure payment processing

Online payments and recurring subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Available payment methods are shown during checkout and may vary by location, currency, transaction type and availability.

No standard public annual discount is currently offered. Annual billing may be available after consultation and management approval, with its pricing, payment timing, renewal, cancellation and any discount stated in the applicable Order Form or agreement.
Recurring subscriptions

How ongoing billing works.

Recurring subscriptions are automatically charged through Stripe using the customer’s saved payment method.

Applicable invoices, receipts and failed-payment notifications may be delivered to the billing email associated with the account.
Automatic recurring charges

Your recurring subscription is charged using the saved payment method associated with the account. Billing frequency and plan pricing are shown during checkout or in the applicable Order Form or agreement.

Manage billing through Stripe

Customers can use the Stripe Customer Portal for supported billing actions, including the cancellation path described below. Available portal actions depend on Loyal’s configured Stripe settings.

Annual arrangementsAnnual arrangements

Annual billing is not a standardized public pricing option. When management approves an annual arrangement, the commercial terms—including renewal and cancellation—will be stated in the applicable Order Form or agreement.

Failed payments

A clear grace period before suspension.

If a recurring payment fails, you have seven calendar days to update the payment method or pay the outstanding balance.

01

Payment fails

The recurring charge is not successfully collected.

7 DAYS

Grace period

You have seven calendar days to update the payment method or pay the outstanding balance.

DAY 8

Suspension may begin

Loyal may suspend some or all affected services beginning on the eighth calendar day after the failed payment.

DAY 30

Termination may occur

If payment remains outstanding for 30 calendar days, Loyal may terminate the affected subscription or account.

Important: Suspension does not cancel the subscription, eliminate an outstanding balance, or remove third-party charges already incurred on the customer’s behalf. Stripe retry timing is not promised here.
Plan changes & cancellation

What happens when your needs change.

Upgrades, downgrades and cancellations follow different timing so you know when a change takes effect.

UPGRADE

Upgrade immediately

Plan upgrades take effect immediately after successful payment.

You may be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing period.

DOWNGRADE

Change at renewal

Plan downgrades take effect on the next renewal date, so you keep your current plan through the period you have already paid for.

There is no prorated refund or credit for the plan-price difference during the current period.

CANCEL

Stop future renewals

Standard cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing period and does not normally create a prorated refund for that period.

Commitments, annual terms, Limited Launch Offer terms, or a different written agreement may change when cancellation takes effect.

How to request cancellation: use the Stripe Customer Portal, or email [email protected] from the billing/payment email address associated with your account. For manually processed email requests, we recommend submitting the request at least two business days before your renewal date.
Limited Launch Offer

A special first-year price with a real 12-month commitment.

The Limited Launch Offer is available to the first 10 eligible customers. The discounted Launch Offer price applies during the initial 12-month subscription commitment.

First 10 eligible customers

Availability is limited.

12-month initial commitment

Cancellation requested during the term normally takes effect at its end.

No discount repayment

You do not repay discounts already received if you request cancellation during the initial term.

Regular price after the initial term

The subscription moves to the regular applicable price unless your agreement states otherwise.

After the commitment

Normal period-end cancellation rules apply. Launch discounts cannot be combined unless expressly approved. See Pricing →

One-time work

Subscription fees and project payments are separate.

Platform onboarding and certain projects use a standard two-part payment structure unless a written agreement states otherwise.

Platform onboarding & projects

Standard 50 / 50 payment structure

These charges are separate from your recurring subscription.

Other third-party charges

Separate when applicable

A project or service can sometimes involve a third-party product or service beyond MLS/data-provider charges.

MLS & data providers

Provider charges are not Loyal subscription fees.

An MLS organization or data provider may impose its own application, setup, certification, vendor, data-access, licensing, recurring or other provider-specific charges.

Why the distinction matters: provider charges come from the MLS or data provider and are separate from Loyal’s subscription and professional-service fees. A separately quoted fee for Loyal’s actual integration, certification, development or approval work is a Loyal professional-service charge—not an MLS pass-through fee. This page does not promise that passed-through provider charges will always be billed “at cost” or “without markup.”
